com/us/About-Us/Careers How You Will Spend Your TimeAs a Senior Production Scheduler, you will plan and establish production schedules for a wide variety of manufacturing departments, involving diversified parts, assemblies, or tooling to conform to the requirements of the master production schedule.
You will allocate work to proper work centers, release orders to individual departments, monitor material inventories, track the progress of production, and review factors that affect schedules.
Additionally, you will make necessary modifications to schedules, issuing orders to the appropriate department due to revisions, and you will work with production managers to plan out the work activities of employees in production.
Location of Role:
This role will be located at our Batesville, IN, manufacturing location and is considered an on-site role.
This role is NOT a remote role, and anyone looking for a remote position will not be considered.

Schedules the production of material through the plant to meet customer requirements and maintain inventory levels.
Optimizes resource planning operations through reduced set ups, family scheduling, etc.
Identifies and acts on exceptions to demand or the production schedule.
Provide information to and coordinate with the Purchasing Department to aid in the schedule for consumption of component parts.
Maintains open communication with manufacturing and support personnel, and subcontractors to assure manufacturing plans are clearly understood and fulfilled.
Assists in coordinating engineering changes.
Participates in new product development programs.
Interfaces with our organization's ERP and Advanced Planning and Scheduling Systems Maintains accurate records and documentation for history and audit purposes.
Supports departmental activities by serving as backup for job scheduler positions as required.
Prepares and publishes daily and weekly schedules.
Develops a 12-week plan.
Aids Purchasing to determine material usage per part for annual blanket order estimation.
Review work-in-process material status on production floor Conduct weekly scheduling meetings.
Participates in monthly/annual physical inventories.

EDUCATION:
Bachelor's degree in business or related fieldWORK
Experience:
3-5 years in Production Planning for manufacturing is required.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems are desirable.
Advanced Planning and Scheduling Systems are desirable.
